Access Your Hosting Control Panel

To manage your:

  • Website Files
  • Email Accounts
  • Databases
you must login to the hosting control panel. This guide will help you find it in our customer service portal.

Backup Your Email (Outlook or Thunderbird)

Create a local backup of your email before making any changes. This is especially important for older Outlook versions and POP3 accounts.

Change Nameservers from Rogers or Shaw to Easy on Net

Move your domain off legacy DNS infrastructure and onto Easy on Net’s DNS platform. This is the most important step for completing your migration.

Update DNS Records for Your New Hosting Account

If you are not changing nameservers, follow this guide to update your DNS records manually (A, MX, SPF, etc.).

Add an Alternative Contact Email

Ensure we can reach you during migration by adding a backup email address (such as Gmail or Outlook).

Use our self-help tool to get help setting up your email account in Outlook, Thunderbird or AppleMail.

Recommended Migration Order

  1. Backup your email
    Create a local backup before making any changes to avoid data loss.
  2. Add an alternative contact email
    So we can reach you in case of service interruption.
  3. Update your nameservers
    This moves your domain fully onto our infrastructure.
  4. Or update DNS records manually
    If you are maintaining external DNS.
